My
Journaling Bridge
There’s a place I like to go to journal or
sit with the mysterious black cat or just sit.
Although, as the weather gets colder, my
visits become less frequent.
These pictures are from earlier this fall.

This is the view from my journaling thinking
spot.
The river here is just loud enough to cover
up a lot of the city sounds.
But at around 10 pm you can still hear the
train as it goes by Banbury Place.

This is the view going across the bridge.

It’s beautiful because it is not
perfect.

This is the background on my computer right
now.

And this is the north view off the bridge.

Right now they are building a large obtrusive
office building on the other side of this bridge.

Due to this inconvenient construction, a
fence has been placed on this side of the bridge so people won’t go across.

A view like this only tempts me.
Our lives and our minds are filled with fences,
bombarded with stop signs.
The most beautiful moments are found on the
other side of the fence.

Where else was I not
supposed to go?
